Partnership between RSM and PRG
RSM Robotics is an organization of robotics enthusiasts in Brazil, started by Rafael Mattos in 2018. They wish to bring tinkering of robots to every doorstep around the world. This is made possible by joining fairs, competitions, building robots, and talking about their innovations. It is no small feat that their group, through the robots they made, has won multiple awards and ranked among the top 3 in several local (Brazil) and international competitions, since 2018.
In the time of COVID, these young group of engineers developed a website system to manage robot competitions and allow virtually controlling robots from anywhere in the world. The system was recently used by Inatel IronCore competition and was attended by 9 countries from South America and Asia.
Rafael Mattos and Melvin Matulac of Pinoy Robot Games (PRG) agreed to bring the system to the Philippines and ASIA as partners. PRG will use the system both for training and competitions. The system will allow the participation from every region and island in the Philippines with a stable internet connection.
As a launch of this partnership, the system will be used for the first ever, VIrtual Robot Rugby during the next National Robotics Competition (2021).
We expect this partnership and friendship will bring more benefits to kids and adults that wish to make their imaginations alive with the help of robotics!
