The star ingredient in this soup, Miso is a fermented soybean paste used in Japanese cooking. Love the spice. So worth the wait.. 2 cups chicken broth 1/4 cup Mizkan Mirin 2 Tbsp. Most miso is made in Japan, but there are actually more than 1,000 types of miso. Add ground pork, and stir-fry until no longer pink. After the noodles are completely cooked, turn off the heat and add the miso paste and water to the noodles and broth (photo 8).
