He was successful in life, in business and with family, said his son, Eric de Jong. Kelly Ann McGuire, 45, died Feb. 5, in Greenville, S.C. McGuire joined the State Department in 2009 as a consular affairs officer. He joined the Foreign Service in 2000 and served in Haiti, Africa, India, Iraq, Lebanon, Italy, and retired from his last post, Nepal, in 2017. Sabetay-Wilcox also enjoyed working as a freelance writer. Peters retired in 1988 and worked briefly for the state of Maryland. He retired in 1986 and began his second career as an aviation consultant. In retirement, Kinsella relocated to Wethersfield, Conn. Dorset is survived by a son, Mark. Outside of the Department, Katzen served as vice chairman of the African Development Foundation, acting chief of staff at the Peace Corps, visiting professor at Boston Colleges Graduation School of Management, chairman of the Board of the Combat Wounded Veteran Challenge, and he served as a national park ranger.
